The 2026 toolset
Create editable sketches, dimensions and constraints. Model solids, work with blocks and meshes, and use plates, tubes, box sections and lifting lugs as a starting point for crane components.
Assemble chassis, axles, wheels, boom sections, counterweights, supports and hook assemblies. Browse the supplied LTM component collection, with English anatomy groups and source names retained.
Set slew and boom pivots, telescope stages, hook movement and cylinder attachment points. Configure hoist drums, sheaves and rope paths. Import your own GLB, glTF, OBJ, FBX or STL models for preparation.
Record crane travel, carrier heading, slew, boom movement and hoist poses on the timeline. Coordinate two cranes with tandem lift settings and replay the sequence for review.
Calibrate an image or PDF reference and trace an editable profile. Explode blocks or imported geometry into editable parts. View working radius and sampled collision or clearance findings around the model.
Bring crane configuration, source PDFs, load and rigging schedules, method steps, risks and movement waypoints into a structured report. Include plan and elevation drawings, approval tables and the team briefing register.
Crane models require preparation and checks against the exact manufacturer configuration. Simulation and clearance previews support review; the responsible lifting team must verify the engineering data and approve the lift plan.
